Pastor Albert L. Kelley Jr., is the Senior Pastor at the Pennsylvania Avenue Original Church of God for nearly twenty-four years. I enjoy the work of the ministry and helping young ministers develop and grow their individual gifts in ministry. I grow up in the city of Lansing, Michigan and attended the Lansing public schools. After High School took a few classes at Lansing Community College and worked at General Motors Fisher Body Plant. I joined the United States Air Force for four years reaching the rank of Sargent and receiving an honorable discharge. I rejoined the workforce at Fisher Body where I retired after thirty-seven years. During that process of time I graduated from Lansing Community College with degrees in Marketing and General Business. I went on to Mount Hope Bible College with a degree in theology. My National Organization is the Original Church of God in Nashville Tennessee, we have been in operation for over one hundred years. I am formerly the National Sunday School Superintendent for twelve years, presently a member of the Bishop’s Cabinet, and Assistant State Overseer of Michigan and Illinois churches. I am a member of the Greater Lansing Clergy Forum which is made up of twenty-three different churches and denominations. And my role there is head of Social Justice. I enjoy chess, billiards, traveling and spending time with our grandchildren. My wife and I have been married for forty-two years, we have four adult sons and eight grandchildren. I believe it is important that as we reach up, we do not fail to reach back to help someone else along the way.
